Job Description
Cybotrix Technologies is looking for skilled and motivated Business Analysts with 2 to 6 years of experience for opportunities across Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Noida. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience in gathering business requirements, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams.
The Business Analyst will play an important role in understanding business objectives, documenting functional requirements, and supporting software development projects. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable working in Agile environments and translating business needs into clear technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS).
- Conduct requirement-gathering workshops and stakeholder discussions.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with development, QA, product management, and project management teams.
- Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and business process mapping.
- Create workflow diagrams, process flows, and functional documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
- Coordinate with QA teams during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Identify requirement gaps, project risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Track requirement changes and maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support project delivery by ensuring alignment between business expectations and technical implementation.
Required Technical Skills
- Business Analysis: Requirement Gathering, Stakeholder Management, Gap Analysis, Process Improvement.
- Documentation: BRD, FRD, SRS, User Stories, Use Cases, Acceptance Criteria.
- Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, SDLC, Waterfall.
- Tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Excel, MS Visio, PowerPoint.
- Data Analysis: Basic SQL, Data Validation, Reporting, and Data Interpretation.
- Testing: UAT Planning, Test Scenario Review, and Defect Coordination.
- Process Modelling: Flowcharts, BPMN, and Workflow Diagrams.
Required Qualifications
- 2–6 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst in IT or software development projects.
- Strong understanding of business analysis techniques and requirement documentation.
- Hands-on experience working with Agile/Scrum development teams.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience preparing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
- Understanding of software development and testing processes.
- Ability to manage multiple requirements and changing business priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, CRM, ERP, or digital transformation projects.
- Knowledge of SQL queries, REST APIs, and system integrations.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
- Exposure to wireframing tools such as Figma or Balsamiq.
- Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, or Agile-related credentials would be an advantage.
