Job Description
Cybotrix Technologies is inviting applications from experienced Java Developers with 3 to 5 years of experience for opportunities in Pune and Mumbai. We are looking for skilled professionals with strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, and relational databases. Additionally, candidates should have practical experience developing scalable, secure, and maintainable backend applications.
The ideal candidate should understand object-oriented programming, backend application architecture, and software development best practices. Furthermore, applicants should be comfortable working with Agile development teams, troubleshooting technical issues, and contributing to enterprise software projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based backend applications.
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain Microservices-based applications.
- Write clean, reusable, efficient, and maintainable Java code.
- Implement business logic and integrate applications with relational databases.
- Work with Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
- Optimise SQL queries and improve application performance.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external enterprise systems.
- Identify and resolve application defects, performance issues, and technical problems.
- Write unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
- Support application deployment, production issue investigation, and maintenance activities.
Required Technical Skills
Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming
Candidates should have strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts, Collections Framework, Exception Handling, Multithreading, and Java 8+ features. Additionally, they should understand Streams, Lambda Expressions, and functional programming concepts used in modern Java applications.
Spring Boot and Spring Framework
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and dependency injection is required. Furthermore, candidates should be capable of developing backend services and implementing business requirements using Spring-based applications.
REST API and Microservices Development
Candidates should have experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs. Moreover, familiarity with Microservices architecture, service communication, API security, and exception handling will be valuable.

Database Technologies
Practical experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server is desirable. Candidates should understand SQL queries, joins, indexing fundamentals, and database integration using JPA or Hibernate.
