Job Description
Cybotrix Technologies is looking for skilled and enthusiastic Data Analysts with 1 to 5 years of experience for opportunities in Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Noida. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, data analysis, and business reporting. Additionally, candidates should be capable of converting raw data into meaningful insights that support business decisions.
As a Data Analyst, you will work with structured datasets, prepare reports, develop dashboards, and identify business trends. Furthermore, you will collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to understand reporting requirements and improve data accuracy. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyse data from multiple business sources.
- Write SQL queries to extract, filter, join, and aggregate datasets.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and reconciliation to maintain reporting accuracy.
- Analyse business trends, operational performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly management reports.
- Identify patterns, inconsistencies, and potential improvement opportunities in datasets.
- Work with business teams to understand analytical and reporting requirements.
- Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis, PivotTables, lookups, and advanced reporting.
- Support data visualisation and business intelligence initiatives.
- Document data definitions, reporting logic, and analytical processes.
- Present analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Technical Skills
SQL and Database Knowledge
Candidates should have a good understanding of SQL queries, joins, subqueries, aggregations, and database fundamentals. Additionally, experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server will be valuable.
Microsoft Excel
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required for data analysis and reporting. Candidates should be familiar with PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, conditional formatting, charts, and advanced formulas.
Power BI and Data Visualisation
Experience developing dashboards and visual reports using Power BI is preferred. Furthermore, knowledge of Power Query, DAX fundamentals, data modelling, and KPI reporting will be an advantage.

Python for Data Analysis
Basic Python knowledge is desirable for data manipulation and analytical automation. Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, and data-cleaning techniques will be beneficial, particularly for candidates with advanced analytical responsibilities.
Analytical and Statistical Skills

- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, or other collaboration tools.
Experience-Based Expectations
Data Analyst – 1 to 2 Years
Candidates should have a solid understanding of Excel, SQL fundamentals, and basic reporting activities. Additionally, they should be comfortable cleaning datasets, preparing reports, and supporting dashboard development under guidance.
Data Analyst – 3 to 5 Years
